Hi all. Having trouble running my GPU at full lane bandwidth (yes it matters, no I dont want it running at x8)

I'm NOT using M.2_2 and im NOT using PCIEx8/x4_2

I've tried:
- changing the BIOS settings to force M.2_2 disablement
- removing PCIEX4_3 SSD
- tried a different GPU

Im on the latest release BIOS 0804

What else can I try? Do I have a faulty motherboard?

PCIEX1_1 = EMPTY
PCIEX8/X4_2 = EMPTY
PCIEX1_2 = EMPTY
PCIEX4_3 = Intel 750 PCIe 1.2tb SSD
M.2_1 = Samsung 950 Pro 256gb SSD
M.2_2 = EMPTY

- Try re-seating and cleaning pins of both CPU and GPU
- Try a different CPU if available
- Try CMOS clear
- Worst case, could be a bad board

RESOLVED: I reverted back to prior bios... no fix...

tried another GPU and it was getting 16x. isopropyl cleaned the 1080ti. now its getting 16x! solved.
