Hey restsugavan thanks a lot for your contributions man!

I am using your modded 1503 BIOS since 1603 cause issues with my fans. It seems that Asus did something to Q-Fan.

However, I see increased temps due to the microcode.

Is there any chance that you give us 1503 with the #49# microcode?

For more information update after discussion with my friends @intel .

Mostly testing on their labs the temperature @idle speed since 0200004D to 02000057 increased but not harmful to SKX all models. It was from mitigation performance issues after L1TF vulnerables patch. The lastest issue may fixed by hardware of CLX which to release on Q3 2019.

CLX was designed to be successor of existing SKX and SKX Refresh. It will keep LGA 2066 lifespan to mid 2020.

CLX flagship still remains 18C/36T 24.75MB L3 same as 7980/9980XE but it will be intel first hardware fixed
on Spectre & Meltdown. Clock speed may higher than 9980XE a little bit ( 3.4 Base TB 2.0 4.8GHz from rumors ) .*

CLX support AVX512 VNNI and many latency reduce instruction vectorlized operand. It may support Optane DC
Persistence memory on selected models.

I am back to silence with 1503 + 49 and my overclock is better although I am still undelidded until my direct frame arrives in about a weel..

Meanwhile I testing my cores as is to see which are the better ones. Temps creep up fast with the monoblock and the stock IHS though.

Note :: 1. Both files are R6AEFI3720.CAP and R6EEFI3720.CAP please rename to R6A.CAP and R6E.CAP before use to update.
2. Use ASUS Flashback method to update.
3. Best suitable RST driver was Intel lastest RST 17.0.0.1072 WHQL driver.

Love it, real world use just seems crisp, snappy and clean as do benches. Tried a few modded from here and this one I really like. Thanks restsugavan
