The ME Version is different in 1503 yet on the download page it said
ROG RAMPAGE VI EXTREME BIOS 1503
Improve system stability and performance.
Update ME firmware to version 11.11.55.1509.
Fixed an issue that affected the boot device menu when two OS’s were installed on the same drive.

Defiantly not 11.11.55.1509 from what I seen so I used the update tool from the previous update and all seems stable so far.

Not overclocked yet but I will report back after testing

You can download the ME tool which is the update before Bios 1503 on the download page. Just download it to your desktop and unpack it , run the tool and restart your pc when its completed. Then flash bios to 1503. It was a different fw number in bios when I flashed to 1503 so I just ran the tool again and all good. You should see the new fw version in bios under the main tab … the driver is in with the tool Or are you saying the tool fails ??

The tool fails and says you already have the up to date driver but when I look at the numbers to signify the different versions they are totally different. If it helps would you like me to update a photo to show you the dialogue box I get when I run the tool. The Box says ' Warning ' Please check MEI driver is installed '

when i check the driver version within windows for the ME it says 11.7.0.10577567075671
when im in the BIOS and its says ME version it says 11.10.0.1287

now im really confused.

P.S if i update the BIOS do i lose my RAID i created???75669

You confuse the MEI driver (under Windows) and the ME firmware (bios) 😉
Sorry for my english 😄

No you don't but bios will be at default settings so your PCH will be in AHCI mode. Change it back to raid and the array you created should be visible and all will be back to normal

Reference your first pic, my device manager shows the same

Thank you for your help with this. Do you think im best of waiting then for the ME update to be included within a BIOS update then cause i have tried today again and still the same problem. Bit annoying really as i wont be able to update my BIOS cause of this.

Have you tried switching to bios 2 then try the update tool. You can try downloading it again and after unpacking it check out the property tab and make sure the unblock box is ticked and also run it as admin. If t does not update then flash bios with 1503 first and then try the tool. Also how are you updating bios
