I'm on a custom loop non delid, same board. Max cinebench was 5,350 but temps were way too crazy. I settled at 4.6ghz 1.17volts score of 3,480. I have a question. I had 4 cores jump to 85-90 range in cinebench. I'm assuming it is avx related. I had to offset my avx to a ridiculous amount. May I ask what your avx offset is set to and your llc? For the 5,000 score llc was set to 5. I noticed setting it to 2 or 1 made a huge impact on thermals.

As far as I'm aware CR15 does not use AVX, it's just very computationally (or floating point) intensive by design. High temps on a non delidded chip are to be expected, but your mileage may vary. My 7900X (smaller die but same principle applies) will reach these temps @ 1.22v when running CR15, too. Nothing I run on a daily basis is this intensive, though.

Hi feedmeink
The AVX offset was set to 2 and the AVX 512 was set to 3, I've taken some screen shots of bios when it was benched at 4.642MHz @ 1.218v all cores were synced @46 The LLC was set to 7 and the CPU was set to 140%, both CPU and Memory power were set to optimized. The overclock was done using bios 1401, I have flashed to 1503 but I`ve not had chance to test it yet.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea why my thermals are so bad? What size radiators are you using. My current for cpu is set to 140% as well. I offset each core negative as well as down clocked on each core depending on voltage read out using adaptive mode. Thanks for any help.

I use 2x 480 rad push pull, one on the CPU loop and 1 on the GPU loop and 2 D5 pumps. Fans and pumps run @ 50%

Wow nice case man. That's some serious radiator support. That explains my thermals for sure

I still need to finish the case with artwork but its getting time, What water cooling are you using ??

Just an ek full monoblock, d5 pump with bitspower res, full block for the gpu, running in one loop with 2 alphacool 30mm thick rads. One 260mm, the other 240mm. I'm using the corsair 570x case, but I'm upgrading to the lian li pc-011 dynamic rog edition next month. That one can fit 3 360mm rads. Space is tight, but im gonna attempt to seperate into two loops. Going to delid with liquid metal.
