Hi guys, I am in a dilemma now. Currently I have 2x 4gb 2666 kingston hyperx fury, wanted to upgrade to 4x4gb 2666. Wonder if I buy another 2x4gb 2666 will the motherboard able to run at 2666? Mobo: Asus b350f strix Cpu: Ryzen 1600
I have the same MoBo and i would recommend to buy a new set of sticks.. 4 dimms can run at 2666 but it is unlikely. I have 4 dimms of 3200 memory and they wont run above 2400. So 8gb modules is the way to go.
