AURA SYNC 1.06.95 - Report Issues Here

Was the memory detected in previous versions of AURA?
Please let us know if other issues occur still exist in 1.06.95?

Hi MasterC, I uninstalled, auraclean, reinstall all 3 versions of Aura Sync. None of the versions detected the RAM.

as far as i know vengeance pro rgb does not work with aura yet.

Have you uninstalled previous version first? It works well for me, what I did was:
1) go to control panel and uninstall aura and patriot driver
2) go to services and force stop aura services then manually remove leftovers in programfiles (ASUS and LightingServices - both)
3) restart pc
4) run setup.exe
5) another restart

The only thing changed I was able to notice is shutdown rainbow finally fixed.

cant get it to work on my crosshair vii hero wifi. it just says asus aura has crashed.

I'm also unable to start this version of AURA on my Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi) board. Instantly crashing when I try to open.

Edit: I think power cycling may have fixed the issue, killed power supply switch and let the board lights fade. Next boot up, no more crash.

I posted in another thread not knowing about this one, so I'll drop it here as well:

I've just updated today. This version appears to have some issues, particularly with crashing and wrong colours at times. See this thread as well: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...RA-Sync/page19

For those that are experiencing crashing every time you try to open this version of AURA, uninstall it and when you reinstall, run "setup.exe" instead of "AsusSetup.exe". That fixed the crashing for me.

The other issues I'm experiencing are when I try to change the colour of more than one thing at a time (under static colours>by area) it changes many of my LEDs to random colours. I got around this issue by selecting "single colour" and setting everything to red (any colour would do though) and then switch back to "by areas" and change one thing at a time, hitting apply after every change. Also when I change the number in the "Amount of LEDS" in the ADD STRIP settings screen it reverts all of my settings back to rainbow every time.

Not happy with how buggy AURA has been for me lately. The previous version was good for a while but in just the last few days it started giving me issues where it would only detect 2/4 of my G.Skill RGB RAM sticks, and sometimes none. Windows was detecting all 32GB so it was working but stuck on the default rainbow lighting affect.

here is my report .
1. flash and dash is not working on middle setting. it get stuck on flash
2.Raimbow is not fluid as before. it feel like pause between colors. happens on Color cycle and gradient options.
3. the change of each selection of patterns have a huge spike on cpu usage.
4. Strobing, also is lights are nor fluid.
5. light service has no impact on color cycle, the rest, need more cpu power.
6. defaults is Rainbow option. that is new. always color cycle was the default

ASUS FIX IT PLEASE. the fruity of the color transitions in horrible.

Is not my computer since the color cicle option is OK and have NO issue on the fruity of the lights.

Aside these instalacion as recommended by ZduneX25 is correct and works.

Sorry asus. another flop. now I have to use the old default since rainbow was my option. I will continue the test on load on other programs, and report back if I find other problems.
