With the release of the 9900X coming soon from Intel has anyone heard of any new cpu's coming for X299 ? I would like an 8 core 16 thread soldered IHS cpu that can do 5Ghz without exotic cooling.Anyone else ?

Look like X299 Ending with our Skylake X refresh according to lastest source. Cascade Lake X may require new chipset ( sound like X599 ) due AMD patented its X399 X499 already.

Update :: Anyone whom interesting on Skylake X microarchitect , IceLake Architect was a kind of Skylake X refresh at the end.

Icelake Microarchitect was like Skylake X Engine with intercooler variable valve turbo. 😉
Can not Imagination size of RAMPAGE 7 Extreme due it must support 4189 pin LGA.
8 Channal DDR4 3200 MT/s. Perhaps we need to buy the chriller for RAMPAGE 7 Extreme on the futures.;)
