AI Suite set 1.32v but I'm Seeing up to 1.5v

Hey Guys,

I have the Maximus X (WiFi) and an 8700k with Gskill 3200mhz 14cl. Kraken x62 pump on the cpu

for the first time in almost a year I decided to OC. Wanted to try this 5-Way Optimization I've heard great things and I honestly don't have the energy and time to OC like I use to.

Anyway. I ran the test, applied to all cores. TPU II, and it came back with a 35% OC at 5ghz stable. Adaptive voltage is on LLC is 3 and the OC voltage is 1.32v.

The cpu runs very cool, typically 50-65c while gaming but sometimes I see it hit 85c for a split second and it drops down. Taking a look at the AI suite I have noticed that although the OC voltage is set to 1.32v I see the voltage jump WAY over that and all the way up to 1.5v

What is causing the voltages to spike?

Appreciate everyone's time in advance 🙂

So I dropped the offset a reasonable amount and that brought voltage under a bit. Is there a limit of how far under I should bring the offset? Should I just drop the oc voltage instead?
