Thumbs up GL503VD - Bad experience

Hello, everyone! I was totally excited to get this new laptop (after 4,5 years of using Samsung's Ativ Book 8) - but after 3 months it really surprised me in a bad way. Yesterday I've turned on the laptop and went for ~2 minutes. When I was back the laptop's screen was black and I could not turn it on at all (I had urgent work project).

Literally nothing could help - it would not turn on or react to anything (even the power LED would not show up).

Later that day I've manged to turn it on by changing the plug part of the the AC adapter - this time it would turn on but the battery seems to be not working any more. It is stuck at 67% the laptop dies instantly as soon as I unplug the adapter.

I am not sure what is the issue and it is still on the warranty - I didn't even play ANY games on it. I guess I will have to deal with this "product" now on...

Totally disappointed in Asus - literally have used the laptop for a few months to get this - meanwhile my old laptop is still in great condition. Considering the price it is just unacceptable.

Sounds like the battery is dead. You should set up an RMA and get it repaired under warranty.

I got my laptop from service - it was really fast.

I am really concerned about the changes - they've changed the motherboard and HDD. Since it was supposed to be a work laptop I am really afraid that it will just die and I won't even recover my files...

And I've never even played/did any extra heavy work on it yet and it failed so many inner parts...
