MOBO ROG RGB Leds no lighting up

Hello there.

So, I got an Asus Maximus X Hero with onboard RGB lights, which were working fine until a couple of weeks ago. Now they're not lighting up anymore, and the motherboard is not showing in AURA.

When I turn on my system, after a couple minutos with the PSU power cord disconnected, I can see that the leds briefly flash, just for a moment, but it's noticeable.
I have the latest BIOS and AURA software.

Another odd thing that's been happening is, when the system is booting, the message "BIOS is updating LED firmware" keeps showing up, a couple os seconds later it disappears and the PC boots normally.

I've seen many topics around with similar issues, I even triedd some of the proposed solution, none of them worked so far.


I was hoping you guys could give me some insights.
