It could be a problem with the application, in which case you need to consult the application author.
It could be a driver problem so you might need to update a driver. Probably GPU driver.
It could be a hardware failure so you need to test other intensive applications to see if they also cause a crash. If it is hardware and you have a warranty you should send it in for service.
