GA752VS CPU overheating issues

Cheers!

More or less out of nothing, my GA752VS started to overheat as soon as i start any game.

The only issue is the CPU temperature, which steadily rises to 100 degree Celsius, where it shut itself down. As long as i don´t start any 3D App, all is fine.

Is it a RMA case or can i fix it by myself?

mny thanks

Want to look at the underside of your laptop and write down the correct and complete ASUS model number? Then return here and restart this forum entry.

.. I'll assume G752VS.

You need to get a repaste.

That or take off the plastic cover over the fans and allow more airflow. :f

I repaste my own laptops always. I find it pointless to get a Gaming NoteBook if you don't.

Stock is always crap.

Thanks Darnassus! Will try to find a proper tutorial for that 🙂

Do this. But use plastic tools, do not use metal like this dummy.

Otherwise yes, repaste. But it's a hard job.. it's annoying to separate the plastic clips that hold the front of the laptop, the edge in front of the track pad buttons.
