Hi there Hivemind,
Thanks for the update, previously my bios version was 1701, and after the windows update I couldn't OC my cpu at all regardless of any setting. Just tried your unofficial update it worked ( I believe asus official update was 1902)
My OC settings are at 4.3Ghz at 1.35V. I couldn't push mine to 4.5Ghz regardless of any voltage input increase... my RAM was lucky enough to hit 2800mhz, my setup for ram was that I purchase 8gb x2 sets , and I got 4 sets which amounts to 64gb (During that time 8gb x 2 only cost 110SGD lol) .
So yep... Thanks~!!
An awesome year ahead to have my setup not wasted in vain at default cpu speed of 3.8Ghz....

I just installed WIndows 10 1809 last night on my Rampage V Extreme. MS must have blacklisted the update in question, I have no issues with my OC. Still boosting to 4.4Ghz on my 6950x on this fully updated Win 10 install. Will keep an eye on it.

Got same problem with OC a couple of weeks ago. Every time i OC i got the BSOD, but the last couples of weeks the system works flawless, so now my OC runs smooth again, yess...!
Im running BIOS 3902 and the very latest update from MS on a Windows 10 1809 build 17763.292
I was at the point where i thought my RAM was messed up and was starting to look after another brand because i heard Kingston may could be the problem.
I can se now that it was just Intel/MS that messed up.
