still using it it is fine as long you do a clean install and disconnect any drives with data on it

I can wait until MS fixes the problem and resumes roll-out via Windows Update. In all my years of using computers and smart devices, I've learned contain my excitement to jump in on major updates on day one.

Installed 1809 on my test SSD. Clean install.
Have noticed that Query Performance Frequency has changed. Not sure if that means anything.
Can not seem to get passed 6000 on the CPU benchmark.

Restsugvan has said its do with the new Kernel and requires tweaking.

In order to get clear benching results I re installed windows, big mistake! It installed that version.
Now every time I reboot it does it’s updating files routine? And I keep getting errors of unable to load *file ????, or cannot find file??? System files corrupted and needs repair, What!
So this explains it.
Now I am faced with re installing everything again and checking if and what is missing.
Rig just hasn’t been right since so it’s what to do now!

I downloaded and flashed 1809 to a USB drive then updated windows without loosing my programs and files and only issue I have had is a couple system lock ups transitioning to sleep mode. I will probably have to review my over clock settings in the bios.
Since 1803 my Sound Blaster X AE-5 sound cards LED lights had to be manually turned on after every boot, I do not have that issue anymore.

Just a moment, they’ll release new Kernel with used on my Windows 10 # 2019 # Insider Preview Build 18252.1000 for all.
The new Kernel fully mitigation from all vulnerable even L1TF vulnerable CVE-2018-3665. My 7980XE performance came back!

I have had my PC lock up transitioning to sleep mode a couple times since updating, may have to review my overclock settings but the update did fix an issue I have had from the last major update (1803) where I would have to re enable the LED lights on my Sound Blaster X AE-5 sound card on every restart

There was issues with notebooks where the iGPU driver needed updated first before updating the OS, so this may be the same if you do not use a add on Video card
