Even if it works, you damage your speakers and you will generate distortion subtle but very unpleasant to hearing. So, speakers via jack : only use the jack amplification lvl 1.
I can not find the level. I know that when you plug a speaker, in my case is says around 500OHM and have 3 seleccion Performance/Powerful/Extreme. Here are the LVL?

Look in the Realtek Audio Control Panel, click the gear/cog for your sound device and you will see "Amplify Level"

If you don't have the Realtek Control Panel then check the first post for a link.

Hello! I love this thread. Thank you for keeping me updated. Sonic Studio etc doesnt work for me, but the drivers always do and so does the Realtek panel!

Are there any "patch notes" coming along with these releases? Should I update for better audio quality? My motherboard is a Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero.

Thanks for responding, it's much appreciated!

EDIT: Just found out a bug. New update stopped my microphone amplification to work. I cannot set it to +30 db anymore. The slider stays at +0.0.
EDIT2: Doesn't work on either front or back panel!

So if I do a clean install of 1903 would I just install the driver listed above instead of the 100MB+ version from ASUS’s driver page?
