updated the studio with this package on my gl704gw... seems a bit better on google chrome. Still no fix about slowdown in this version (i know that you say to me that the problem is on nahimic service but a part of me was hoping for a beta fix on this).
Curious thing is the behavior of nahimic service after update of the new sonic studio... before i was enable and disable nahimic service on windows services only when i need it to improve audio (wathing movies for example), now the only way to disable nahimic service is to disable service and just and then reboot, now you can't stop the service without rebooting the machine. So, i think that this new behavior is part of the fix for browsers right?

Is there a guide for those with GLxxx and the normal drivers and normal version of Realtek drivers, SS3, SRadar3 etc. (non UWP)?

@MoKiChU
personal curiousity... on my older rog gl703 with HDA i was using an application (it was inncluded on an older driver package on asus site for my older laptop) called "fine tuning tool" that do thhe possibility to fine tuning the single frequencies of HZ for audio speaker of the laptop (and it was so GREAT). This app never worked on my new gl704gw with UAD... there's a newer version that work with the new driver structure? I really miss this app.

Tried installing the latest version of the Realtek driver 6.0.8810.1 WHQL and installing the SS3 app, but now I have another problem with chrome and SS3.
General sound processing / effects work in chrome, but when I go to basic mode in SS3 and select "music" mode, settings only take effect in advanced mode when set to "music" there too.
So selecting "gaming" on basic and changing "music" on advanced doesn't do anything. You can only change the mode which is set on basic mode. Hope, that was precise enough.

ss3 vs ss3-dts
How do we know if we need the ss3 or ss3-dts version? I have a crosshair hero 7 which I assume is the non dts version since I can't find anything about that on my mobo, but I'd like to make sure before potentially making a mistake. Thanks!
