If this can help anybody: I managed to fix my issue, audio cracks on Youtube videos.

Disabled fast startup in the BIOS and in Windows. I cleaned up the current audio drivers I had, following the procedure described in OP meticulously. Disabled fast startup in the BIOS and in Windows. Turned off automatic driver install, uninstalled every audio device in device manager, cleaned the registry with Ccleaner and reboot. Installed the latest audio drivers available on ASUS's support page for my C6H. For some reason, I had Sonic Studio installed which never worked for me before. I used the MSI tool provided in OP and let both SupremeFX control panel AND Sonic Studio to start when booting, and turned on the "Sonic Studio Effects" slider.
Even without any effect actually applied, this workaround is working for me.

Hello,

I need some help, I own a motherboard from Asus ''ROG MAXIMUS X CODE'' and use the latest audio drive from Realtek ALC1220 Version 6.0.1.8639 , the problem is that this driver does not include the possibility to activate the DTS function to be able to use this feature along with the VSX-933 pioneer receiver.
The connection from the PC and the receiver is made through an optical cable!
Do you think this feature will be included in the following updates?

Hi,

Since the generation IX (Z270) of ASUS ROG Maximus motherboards, there are no more DTS, Dolby or other under license. Since then, you can only use the Sonic Studio III Surround effect : https://www.asus.com/Microsite/mb/RO.../#sonic_studio

I have a issue with new drivers. I am loosing audio from main output to speakers in io also headphone if I connected there. Front panel is working ok. All start on drivers and is a clean install. I will test again during my day and night and if happens again I.will make a report

I can in form that on some issue, i have to restart tin order to use o r hear something on the speakers. I am going to make a another clean install to test again any errors done so i can replicate. the error. odd error i have here. and so far is a light service error that trigger all.

I have some feeling regarding that. So I make a clean install again. FOR SOME ODD .... well all good. No issues now. It seam that the app DID not download correctly i will continue testing but yesterday wipe the HD and start again with a log step by step I am running now and audio is ok.

I find out what cause other issues also. I will send these by Friday. since i can now replicate

The first link (UAD - ASUS Nahimic / Without NahimicService) is for the case Realtek HD Audio Drivers with Realtek Audio Control Only (Standalone), and in this case, if you follow scrupulously the tutorial of the first post of this thread, you will see that to have sound, there is something to do, only during the first installation (and yet, it is written in red in the tutorial so that you do not miss out) : Launch Realtek Audio Console then check the box "Disable all sound effects" in your "Playback Devices".

The second link (UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration / With NahimicService) is for the case Realtek HD Audio Drivers with Realtek Audio Control + Sonic III Studio with Sonic Studio Link & Sonic Radar III, and in this case, this box should not be checked.

Just so you know, the realtek Audio Console has been broken for months, it's not possible to install it through the Microsoft Store. so the first set of UAD drivers are useless to anyone who did not happen to have the app installed prior to it imploding months ago. you can check out the tons of reviews if you follow your link to the store where it doesn't work for anyone.

So for now, looks like only the Sonic Studio version will work for people unless there's a way to manually get the Realtek Audio Control software.

I have actually installed the version of the "UAD - ASUS Nahimic" that was available only as that with the double possibility with also the "+ Sonic Studio III integration".

Which are the main differences in updating to the classic "UAD - ASUS Nahimic" rather than the "UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration" ??

I have now installed "Sonic Studio III" and "Sonic Radar 3" from Microsoft store and I'm om with them. What changes in the Sonic Studio III integrated in the "UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration" driver version??

I ask this as I have to value if moving to it or just remain as I am. Thank you.
