soooo got sound working by disabling all sound effects.

still - windows settings/sound mixer crashes

bass management no longer works and my headset sounds like trash now.

aaaand for whatever reason the links to older drivers are removed.

Anyone have any of the older drivers saved?

I so sorry I report these 5 weeks ago. I feel your pain. New windows is on the way and i working perfect with the new windows. No idea the way all brake lose. I almost send the RMA until i see the light. 1903 is coming in 3 weeks. Please no not install the windows, there are other bugs like NVIDIA drivers and as far i read the code and some paths. a BIOS WILL BE NEEDED since the windows is asking for it, as information I recollect using 20 systems in the week. As soon these windows is up for general public I will prepare a clean install and retest BUT is WINDOWS not the drivers. So sorry I brake the news. Sound blaster is taking the worst hit

so a little more testing.

sonic studio makes qtwebengine apps take longer to load (twice as long roughly) but sonic radar is what breaks them completely.

also worth noting macrium cbt driver blue screens with sonic studio installed, that could be macriums fault for all i know, what i do know is it has never happened in a good year or so of usage, until just now installing/uninstalling sonic studio a few times to test if its still breaking qtwebengine softwares.

do with this info what you will . (not holding breath)

The only thing i can say please be patience IS WINDOWS. not the apps 100000% confirm. tested in 20 scenarios. New windows is coming I can asure that 1809 is the blame for all issues. I hope the team make all the works on webpage and bios since a bios will be needed. So wait 3 week. I have being working and taking the hit of the bugs and lag of game since still need a lot of work. But is confirm that is the windows. Does not manner who or what your read IS WINDOWS. and I can reproduce the issues on until the coma that say press F1. Fix is coming. as tested and using almost all asus apps and they are working perfect.

With all HD Audio & UAD drivers on the digital connection side, the sound at a volume of - 40 in the receiver pioneer VSX 933 is not as strong.
When I switch on the sound from the TV that is connected ARC to the receiver the sound is much stronger at the same volume at the receiver!
Can be this a problem from the drivers?

Maybe you can simulate this problem to check...

from the screen captures that see, console and SS3 are the same as mine. just is another driver update. Ok . I can try that. Let me open the rings so i can get the console since i am still running on the last 19h1. My test goes for 2 days. after capacitors are discharge and ends on cool boot on the next morning. I got a msg that the driver also is available. but since i am on a insider, some apps are not available to download until I open the system. I will have 2 of my friend computer, same exact configuration like mine that is running 1809 next week so I can try the windows and drivers. I will see that later.

Since i did get help from other sources and not here or any response what so ever, users we have got in touch. and testing we got some interesting results, example z370/z390 with same drivers did affect behavior on how driver work. and 1 like mine with out the MEUpdate. Mine do not work with audio drivers. and my friend without do work the audio. z370 works as same. interesting. Any way. Let do these. I will send my notes as soon is possible and send these to my PR in MS that has help a lot.

Hi,

Yes, they are compatible with ROG Maximus X Hero, of course.

If you have currently installed 6.0.1.8507 drivers from your motherboard support page, use the second drivers (UAD - ASUS Nahimic + Sonic Studio III integration) which for the case Realtek HD Audio Drivers with Realtek Audio Control + Sonic III Studio with Sonic Studio Link & Sonic Radar III and use the UPDATE tutorial of the first post of this thread (if you need help for update process).

I decided to update. Sonic studio app can not be launched after start and crashed without appearing the interface. Driver 8627 works fine.

I decided to update. Sonic studio app can not be launched after start and crashed without appearing the interface. Driver 8627 works fine.

I also decided to try it again and the interface pops up then closes after a few seconds, back to the standalone for me.

I am running Win10 64bit 1809 17763.379 on a Strix Z390-F.
