I just tried Sonic Studio 3 UWP v3.13.1 which is bundled in an older Realtek UAD driver version that I got. I uninstalled v3.13.3 and installed the older app and I can confirm that the "Application Manager" list under Advanced mode works fine in this version. Every media application that I run is being detected by SS3. So that's clearly a bug of the newer version. And maybe the other issue im having is also a bug. So yeah.. Im going to also wait and see if it gets fixed in the next SS3 update and if not im going back to HDA.

would you mind sharing a LINK to that .exe, I would like to try it please?

what I can say is in the new SS3 and SR3 update file, something was missing, I downloaded the ones off the support page, they worked, updated in windows update and no issues anymore

Glad it worked for you! Just make sure now that you don't have auto updates checked in Microsoft Store. Will wait for the next update to see if it gets better. I'll make sure to let you know here.

Experiences with the C6H board:

• UAD version 8553 first version that worked with UWP Real Audio Console
• UAD 8553 for some reason needed A-Volute N3 version 1030 for SS3 to work
• SR3 has never worked; always would start and immediately close
• UAD version 8557 installed(updated) on top of 8553 worked perfectly
• Recent SS3 update stuck in debug mode (constant creation of tiny dump files in temp folder)
• Clean install of 8557 (after removing all traces in registry and file folders of Realtek, Nahimic, and SS3) nothing worked (listed audio device was for HDA)
• Clean installed 8553 and now both UWP Real Audio Console and SS3 works again

What the change between packaged versions 8553 and 8557 do not know. But enough of one for it not to function with the UWP apps on a clean install.

I removed the drivers version with SS3 + SR3 from the thread, I will not propose more tutorial Drivers + SS3 + SR3, thank you to refer to the support page of your motherboard.

So is confirm that SS3 and SR3 is not supporter with with new drivers. ok. I skip those for a change i think the problem is on windows. since the SS3 functionally is part of windows now. I will not miss it. thanks. but the mic portion is. that was nice, since i was using that a lot. I will test the drivers and see what it up

So the 8564 driver is good to go by it own, (without SS3 and SR3 correct?)

I will wait for UAD drivers until Win 10 1903 is done. It is really like beta testing atm. In 1903 they also open the Sound System settings when clicking the Windows own volume symbol in the tray. This way it comes more near to the recent Realtek console functunality.

I do not use Sonic Studio 3 & Sonic Radar 3, I only use UAD drivers with Realtek Audio Console, and everything works perfectly on Windows 10 64 bit 1809/RS5 (build 17763.107), follow the tutorial IF FIRST INSTALL and you will have no worries.

Open windows settings, sounds and move the vol up and down. and open Advance sounds options. there, the drivers crash and send these to event viewer

So far. 6.01.8557 realtek high def audio driver is working as expected
So far Realtek Audio Console 1.2.147.0 is working perfect including audio fx I will test mic today night (central time)

i am not install the sonic studio or radar. since with windows 10 sound routing do the sane. I will miss the mic functions.

I will try tomorrow and make a another restore point and try again i have to get ready for today stream.

For my situation after uninstalling the Realtek drivers and installing the 8564 ones Sonic Studio 3 and Sonic Radar 3 wouldn't work. Fair enough it must've also removed the Nahimic Component Driver am I correct? So I had an older link to ONLY that Nahimic_Component_Driver_V1030 downloaded it and installed the thing as Admin, it worked. My problem is where do I find the updated Nahimic Component Driver in the future? I know the one you had in 8557 was newer so ummm where do you get it and how do I know the newest version?

My specs are under my name. i have never gotten uad to work properly, not realtek audio console or nihimic. i have removed all realtek audio files, reg entries and installer, but when i load the audio drivers for my board, nothing launches and nothing works properly. not sure what im doing wrong. Please help.
