I have the asus maximus code x 1080 ti 8700k and all these drivers do is crash on gaming vids or movies it will crash for like 10 sec with a buzzing sound or my monitor will go off and on or it will pop up and saying what did i plug in . every 10 to 30 min one of these will happen i tried uninstalling reinstalling i tried ccleaner i just don't know everything is up to date the audio drivers are 6.0.1.8553 WHQL and i do have the sonic studio installed as well

I used to have this issue on the HDA drivers. Two things that I know of to fix this is.

(1.) Right click on the windows button in the bottom left corner choose power options. Then on the right hand side choose additional power options. then on the left in power option choose (Choose what the power buttons do). In this area click (change settings that are currently unavailable) that unlocks the bottom boxes [uncheck] the Turn on fast startup option. restart see if your issue is still going on.

(2.) If it is and your running IRST I uninstalled that as I was not longer using RAID or didn't have optane memory. that fixes the buzzing sounds I heard.

Thank You BobaBrett313 I do have the fast startup option off but it still freezes with a buzzing sound every so often but i do have raid not as my main my main is a m.2 and raid is 2 corsair ssd so maybe its the IRST i hate to start over on them but if it works it will be great but just not sure and by the way i never had HDA driver issues its just the UAD drivers

Not sure if you never had those issues on HDA mabye wait for someone else to give opinion I don't want to give you the wrong answer and have you do all that work for nothing. Just being honest :-) I know what a pain in the butt that can be.

Chaps i've done all the steps for a CLEAN install and latest versions, everything is updated (didn't install Sonic Radar), but when launching Sonic studio it just sits on the red splash screen for 5 minutes+ until i have to kill it.

Any ideas? I've done both a reinstall and reboots. I'm on a z370-F.

Could you redo an installation of your drivers (without Sonic Studio 3 + Sonic Radar 3) using the process step by step of this thread : IF FIRST INSTALL (Do not forget to do what is in red) > Realtek HD Audio Drivers with Realtek Audio Console Only (Standalone)

ok i uninstalled the drivers and the sonic studio restarted the pc then i cleaned the registry with ccleaner restarted the pc then i installed the standalone drivers and the realtek console then restarted the pc but it still freezes with that buzz sound and sometimes when watching a movie or vid it sounds like they are talking under water for like 10 sec and i still get pop ups saying what device did i plug in and when it is working the sound is awful with out the sonic studio

Im sure you check this and it shouldnt be enabled after uninstalling with say revouninstalled or iobit uninstaller but check and see if your realtek program some how has a EW enabled.

Have you tried uninstalling with Io-bit or revo(free)?

Have you tried your front pannel jacks? say your font headphone jack just to see if the issue is the same.

Have you seen if your Bitrate is too high?

Thats all I got for anything else. If you still have issues if you really want this set of apps maybe format pc? lol I know its a pain in the ARSE and it may not help but I do it about 1 every 3 or so months. If you dont want to do that I DONT BLAME YA. maybe go back to the HDA drivers and say screw it. Is it really worth the trouble?

Ran some scans of your 6.0.1.8557 WHQL driver.
Got 2 malware hits. They could be false positives and most scan engines don't report anything but considering not even Google knows of any Realtek 6.0.1.8557 drivers I'm not taking any risks.

I dared to install these new drivers on my mobo STRIX B360-f Gaming. It fits good and working without a hitch, but every slider in sound effects tab (Bass boost, treble boost, reverb, etc) does not work. The sliders do not affect the sound at all nevertheless the equalizer works perfectly! Please, fix it!

I can inform, that today sonic studio and radar got update in the store and replace the old ones. the ones that got pull from the store are

Sonic Radar 3 and Sonic Studio 3: 3.13.2.0

I am goint to update de driver now. It iwll be nice that GRID or another way just to have these automactic. including ime/chiset. Maybe in the future
