I could not find no "DPInst64.exe". I tried the only DxSetup.exe and it seems to work. My new driver version : 23.2.0.1006

Hi there.
What are the benefits of installing the ONLY driver packages??
I'm facing some issues related to the Realtek drivers ( https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...d=1#post742789 ) and I'll like to install the best Intel drivers as this could solve.Last edited by piratino; 11-05-2018 at 11:41 AM.

Nice effort but will be obsolete in a month at most
The post with color coding is a bit hard on the eyes.
An index for each board with a link to where the drivers are stored and updated (not that that this would work much either as ASUS support seems to be down more than up these days) would be much more beneficial.
Chipset drivers should never be installed after others are up and running. You WILL experience issues. This driver should be installed on a clean install only and the first to be installed followed by the MEI. Its also one that is seldom updated. This driver is NOT a one size fits all. Your title says X299 yet none of the drivers apply.Last edited by JustinThyme; 11-05-2018 at 12:13 PM.

So for "updating", what do you advise should be the correct install procedure if I have everything installed already and I need to update??
Should I uninstall everything and then install it again on a cleaned system?
Would really like to know.
Thanks.
So for chipset I could go for the mother Intel paks Only Drivers, right?
But what about the MEI...isn't it a software??
Thanks.

Ok, I've seen that you upload your "extracted" drivers.
But lets say I'd like to extract it by my self and monitor download by my self...is there a way so to download ad extract them independently?
I've found these Intel links from where the latest drivers should come up:
Intel® Server Chipset Driver for Windows* : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...r-Windows-?v=t
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) User Interface and Driver : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...and-Driver?v=t
Intel® Optane™ Memory User Interface and Driver for System Acceleration : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...celeration?v=t
Client NVMe* Microsoft Windows* Drivers for Intel® SSDs : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...Intel-SSDs?v=t
Can't find the right official link to MEI.
