Asus IV Extreme-Z RAM problem

gabriel2007
Level 7
Hello everyone, yes, I know it's an old mobo, but still runs!

It happens I have 4x8GB corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 modules, all of them are detected by BIOS in the POST menu (where shows the video card, dimms etc) but the BIOS says I only have 16 GB RAM installed .

Windows says 16 GB
Latest BIOS
CPU-Z on Windows sees the 4 modules installed
Swapped modules
cleared CMOS
Reflashed BIOS
If I leave 1 dimm, BIOS reports 8 GB
All dimms tested and work flawlessly in other computer 32 gb
If i put 4 dimms x 4 GB BIOS detects only 8 GB (detects the 4 slots too)

Any other options before I get more depressed

Thanks everyone
