I doubt this is the case although it's not impossible. This would leave the U.S. and probably Canada as well without a top tier atx motherboard for z390. The Extreme is not standard atx and the Hero and Formula are not top tier, more like mid range tier. It seems like motherboard sales have slowed for the most part across the board so more than likely this is a marketing decision for the time being to prevent cannibalizing sales for the Formula, Hero and Extreme. Besides I've dealt with product support department before and their product knowledge is marginal let alone what they may say about product availability.

Honestly not surprised the APEX isn't coming to the US. The GENE never came to the US either and that's nothing more than a mini-APEX board. I'm a bit disappointed as well and just ended up getting an EXTREME board since it's the only board in ASUS's Z390 (USA) setup that doesn't have gimped 4-phase VRM....I bet the reason is high-returns in the USA. These boards are meant for the extreme and usually the type of target audience is the type of person who will return something if it doesn't meet or beat 100% of their unrealistic expectations. I hope this doesn't start happening to other components too like the upcoming 2080 Ti ROG Matrix GPU.

Personally I don't sub zero anything but do purchase high end products and solutions around processing and cooling. I loved the APEX and own the IX version of it. All the great things around it like Aura lighting not only gave me the performance I wanted but the look for my RGB build. I have owned 5 ROG boards over the years. I really want this one. Not sure what to do.. don't want to go back to EVGA or MSI for a performance motherboard.
They said very clearly that the warranty wouldn't be any good should it come in DOA or die in the first month of non overclocking reasons. I push them to the designed OC specs with great cooling but again nothing subzero.InWin 909 Silver RGB build

Hello JP,

We really understand that you want to get these boards. Our product support team do not have any plans on releasing the product in the US. We really apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately we do not have any option to process the orders for these boards. You can try with our UK site if you found that they are releasing it in the UK.

I gave up and bought the Gene. I managed to get it locally. Was thinking of importing the Apex from Europe / Germany, but I'd rather take a Gene locally. Finally, got all my parts together which was delayed for weeks because of the Apex. Just glad I was able to build now.

Why is the card listed on Asus USA website and Canada website if you never going to sell it to us, you made a lot of people wait, no public reply on the forum we have been asking for months. We just are going to buy from another maker.... you are losing loyal customers...............
