5000 mhz memory speed... 1:1 with processor speed in the link above. Pretty impressive. Too bad Americans will never get to actually purchase an Apex.

PS: You know what else I'd like to know? Why wouldn't Asus sell their own motherboards in their online store? They sell everything else - but not motherboards? Sure would make things easier for distribution. I'm sure they have a reason but would be great to know what it is. Anyone?

Yes, that's why I'm fairly certain the Apex will be vaporware for us in NA (Canada/USA). If we can't even find a Gene then I can't see any hope for an Apex. Furthermore, with the Max X Apex basically becoming extinct there is no Asus solution for us moving forward.

What a strange place for customers to find themselves in.

Okay, so the Apex is now in stock in Norway apparently and in other European stores. I'd expect a week max before it becomes available in Newegg/Amazon. Not sure if it's going to be retailed in my country so better buy it there than wait for nothing

Waiting for Apex myself, got Gene XI but want to exchange it to Apex. Wrote msg to all main UK sellers, currently no info, although they started to pop up in German and Austrian shops. Here's all I did find. I don't guarantee anything, do your own research and inspect the websites yourself.

Apparently I'm wrong and it seems it would take more than a week for it to list at Newegg/Amazon. Looks like it will be indeed February. Well, after waiting for more than 3 months won't hurt to wait for 2 more weeks. But I don't trust these release dates anymore. At least now I know
