Oh yeah you're right. I thought it was just a regional thing before, because when I browsed the US site it's still there. Now it's gone.

I think the Apex direct competitor is the EVGA Dark. They say the Dark is supposed to be released mid - late Dec, but it was pushed back to CES. So I would expect the Apex to be out around the same time. But yea wonder why they took down the page?

Definitely isn't vaporware, have one with me at the moment. No direct info on lead times, but won't be long.

Can't wait! I want to see how my 9900k OC does on that board versus the Maximus XI Hero.

SilentScone, can you tell me what takes up the work of the OC Panel as a hardware control device? The M11 series have no OC Panel connection, but "ASUS NODE: hardware control interface" is listed in the specifications (of M11E at least.) Thanks for whatever you can say about it.

The Node is a proprietary bi-directional interface that allows ASUS motherboards to communicate with other system components, as with anything new it will take time for third-party devices to offer connectivity.

So the OC Panel is gone? Can't even use the devices I have? No replacement capability? Seems like a step down.

Any updates? The Evga z390 Dark is already out and available. There are no Maximus X's available anywhere without serious price gouging ($790 on Amazon from third party sellers - what a bunch of douchebags) so what is the deal? Come on Asus let's go... Jeez.

Yeah, and in my case I would have to buy it internationally from Amazon or Newegg which may take weeks to ship, so I will have to wait much longer. Good thing the Apex is not the only one left in my build, else I would have bought other boards by now.
