Anyone knows where to get English manual to Apex XI ? It's only raid manual on official web: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/RO...lpDesk_Manual/
I'm interested in which PCI Lanes doesn DIMM.2 slot uses, CPU or chipset ?

I'm in the U.S. and I bought mine through Newegg's seller in the U.K. The price is higher but the shipping was free and I received it in 2 days and I'm on the west coast. As for VAT, ask the seller he will know.

There is no available online manual that I have found. The DIMM.2 slot goes through the PCH not the CPU.

Thank you. Ordered mine from computerunivers.de. How does your memory work on APEX ? No issues ? Did you try to overclock it above XMP ?
I'm currently on Formula XI and my G.Skill 4600CL18 doesn't go higher than 4100. Anything above gives errors and very unstable. Tried different voltages for vccio, vccsa, dmi, vdimm. Nothing helps.

No issues here, although I'm only using 4000CL19 since it is what I currently have on hand. I tightened the timings and have no stability issues.

Always wondered about how the board really reacts to 4600 memory. There must be a bios release coming soon that would unlock that. Otherwise it's completely false advertising and 46 and 4800 memory is too early for production. If they are completely relying on expert OC skills to get to the advertised 4800 speeds than there is a fundamental flaw. XMP profiles should handle it otherwise it's out of bounds when it comes to stability. My 2 cents.

I love ROG products so don't get me wrong. I have purchased 5 MB's over the past 10 years.

Hey Feklar, You should go and ask for the price match. the same vendor is selling that board on ebay new just like you get with newegg for 419 I think you paid 455 for it. I was looking at that avenue too. They should price match for you.. newegg is pretty good about that. Just search for it.. not sure I am supposed to put links on the board.

LOL - I should change my country of origin to England for the next few months ;-)

    All,

In regards to warranty/registration I was able to register the motherboard under my account and see no reason why Asus wouldn't handle a warranty claim via the same location I sent to one other time when I had to RMA. I uploaded the invoice, etc. so should be all good.

Still hard to believe the most important overclocking board made by Asus is not available in the USA/Canada and that quite possibly never will.
