I got the 25 digit key from Asus and was told to redeem it at the promotion site. However, on step 4, my laptop on the pull down shows out of stock, and when I put in the serial after selecting the product, I get a message to select a valid promotional product. At any rate, I have replied to Asus support, and I am fully expecting to be told "too bad, so sad" and end up taking my laptop back to the place of purchase.

I was finally sent a key and ran into the same problem with the "out of stock" message. I emailed them back basically saying that I understand there is a process for these things, but I don't think it's fair that I did everything I was supposed to do, and still didn't get the promotion. They sent me an entry code the day after they went out of stock, so I can't help but think that was intentional, since they would go days at a time without responding.
Edit: Finally got the code today. Game is installed.Last edited by Treegs; 03-15-2019 at 02:14 AM.

At last...
Well, I got my code and through a weirdly convoluted process, have installed the game. Just over 3 calendar months since initial redemption.
They made me jump through hoops in terms of resubmitting photos, scans, serials and I've a feeling if I didn't keep following up (out of principal) then I'd never have seen it. They hadn't responded to me at all since January. Perhaps not coincidentally, I did suggest by email just a few weeks ago that I'd need to raise this with the local consumer watchdog.
Perhaps that's what you have to do as they seem willing and able to ignore us in general.
While not a critical life lesson, what I have learned is that if I'm being swayed in component selection due to a promotion, either DON'T or go with the MSI over ASUS!*Last edited by natxx; 03-17-2019 at 12:33 AM.

I bought the COD-BO4-ROG-STRIX-RTX2080TI. Inside the box theres a scratch-off card with a code to the game... Or at least there should be. This is my card after I scratched it: https://i.imgur.com/ssHDA5z.png
There is no code?! The field is empty. What can I do from here to get my code?

I'm having the same issue.
Hi, I'm new here. I just recently purchased a Rog Strix Scar 2 RTX 2070 17.3 laptop. I received the Call of Duty 4 promotion code. When I do go the site listed on the receipt to enter the code it says it's invalid. The site it instructs me to go to is https://promotion.asus.com/en/us/cal...-with-the-best. Also, when I check the FAQs for help on that site it says the code won't have certain numbers and letters. One of those letters is a "G", which my code clearly has. I've contacted Asus via their Facebook page, but not luck yet.

Anyone Interested? - COD BO4 Consumer Complaint
Hi All,
I wanted to reach out to the forum and community to see if anyone would be interested in filing pursuit on an action against Asus for their deceptive and rigged advertising and redemption process?
I know several others have stated concern and issue, but has anyone actually done anything to legally reprimand this situation? I have been going back and forth with half ignorant phone agents and have gotten no where for the past year. Has anyone else has these issues and interested in possibly filing dual complaints or a joint complaint? I had roughly 2 months before the offer expired to claim and attempted to do so several times with no success. (My model was included in the promo but was not shown on the site for download - i.e. Model was grayed out)
I understand it is just a game, but this was one of several issues from Asus and I'm mostly interested in doing this to prove a point! A point in that consumers like ourselves, spend hundreds and thousands on their machinery and they just keep ripping us off every little chance they can. When is enough truly enough. My feelings are based on the princple alone.
Giving you are interested, let me know through here or PM/DM me.

To Asus Staff -
Why, after hundreds of consumers have lodged complaints and cast issues regarding these matters, has Asus not responded and provided resolve? Why has Asus left us, buyers of your thousand(s) of dollar piece of machinery, high and dry, when it was Asus that promised us this game as an incentive to buy your product!?
Why has our questions and complaints went unheard and why hasn't Asus at least attempted to make things right? This is why your being sued over the faulty POS batteries in a couple other models. Had Asus listened to the Consumers, fixed the issue correctly and made things right, Asus would not have been in the position it is now, paying out MILLIONS of dollars back to the Consumers.
I'm giving Asus 1 Month to respond to my emails. After, my complaints will be filed with the FTC and the FCC for violations on both fronts, as well as my in-state commissioners office and the BBB.
I have roughly 86 signature supporters and I hope to find more of my Gaming Pals on here to do their part in bringing this to the forefront of your enterprise. We Want Our Dues and What Is Owed!
Enough IS Enough! I have paid Asus over $30,000.00 USD through the years on new machinery, phones, accessories and the entire lot of bonus gear. One would think, that a $100.00 USD game at the time wouldnt be too much of an issue.

I have the same trouble, cannot redeem the game codes. Really really bad PR for Asus, being a lifelong supporter of Asus products these so called free games starts looking like they are playing their fans. I am really disappointed, tried to redeem the codes again now that COD Warzone got releases as it is under the same tab as COD BO4 hoping to unlock the skins. But it really just leads to dead ends whatever you try...
