Download USB 3.0 driver for ASUS Maximus IX Hero? Having an odd issue

I have a Netgear A6210 network adapter, and an ASUS Maximus IX Hero motherboard.

I installed USB Device Tree Viewer for this testing. When I plug in the adapter, it shows up under Port 21 (which shows as USB 3.0) but a second later, it switches to Port 5 (which is USB 2.0)

During this same process, if I watch the plug in Device Settings, Windows 10 shows it as Connected to USB 3.0, but then a second later, changes to Device Will Perform Faster When Plugged Into USB 3.0.

Why is this port changing a second later?

I made sure all the drivers were updated in Device Manager under USB. I even turned off the power management setting for the USB devices, too. But, is there a separate USB 3.0 Driver for my motherboard? Can't seem to find one on the Asus website.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Since Windows 8 USB 3.0 driver have been native in windows. Intel didn't write USB 3.0 driver beyond windows 7.

Thanks. I wonder what's causing the issue then.
