    Faulty RAM stick?

Hello there I am occuring some issue with my brand new assembly.
The system seems to run stable, bunch of benchmark ect...
But in some games after while I got frezze and system crash. It can be even 5-10min. But i check all temperatures, everything is just fine..

I run CPU defaults so there won´t be a problem

Cuz it´s a full system crash gpu should be also fine

Unfortunattely my memory with that rating is not in the QVL -> F4-3600C16D-16GTZR but I set so many cloks and timings to fit QVL none of that helped me even the auto (low speed) or Dram calculator for Ryzen. With the rated speed it should works regardless the unspprted stick it should works with a differnt speed , I am hopeless now....
Many people around using 3600Mhz memory with CHVII but I still cannot still pass some games :-/

I can send memory to RMA or exchange to QVL model, but I wanna identify if it´s not a faulty board.

Things what I tried: set alternate timing, clocks, voltage (even cpu), change LLC, load default setting bios, change bios (0804,1001) using UEFI.
I have also wattmeter so I can guess that PSU working at half load is fine.
Tried old driver, WHQL driver, new driver nothing helped.

    So my rig:
MB: ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO
    CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X
    RAM: G.SKill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600
    GPU: VEGA 64 Liquid
    PSU: Enermax Revolution 87+ 1000W
    AIO cooling Corsair H105

    Thx guys.

I don't think your RAM is faulty or you should RMA it.

I don't think your CPU / motherboard is faulty or another component.

3600MHz is not really a "plug and play" RAM frequency you will get on Ryzen gen 2 / X470.

Try something more conservative and then as you build experience go higher.

That RAM kit should be Samsung B die, you can confirm using application Typhoon Burner, see this video link on usage.

Thankx for reply, sure it´s not a plug and play,but...the calculator, I am using that one https://www.techpowerup.com/download...am-calculator/ so I was able to set all properly timings.

Anyway as I wrote above, I tried all frequency even 2133Mhz at stock timings. The result was the same, crash. So is it correct? So I try almost all the low speed, stock timings, default voltage, add voltage, what else I can try?

Don´t talk about 3600Mhz, but I want from MB and RAM to run even at defaults without crash...

The DRAM Calculator does not fully account for:-

    i) Integrated Memory Controller (IMC) variance.
    ii) DRAM IC variance.

Besides other factors, so someone using it could find it works well for them and others may find it does not work great at all.

UEFI defaults your system should not be crashing. Is operating system fresh installation? if so then yes you may have a faulty component. Which UEFI version are you using on your motherboard?

Deep info about calc, thank you, I was trying as a last hope for my system.

Yes OS have been fresh installed (Win10-1809) with EUFI secured boot.
I tried both last FW on MoBo version 0804 and then 1001. Same with both, then I went back to 0809 with idea of some bug in the new FW.

I can tell you on UEFI 0804 I can have 3466MHz with ease. I used:-

    i) F4-3200C14D-16GTZ
    ii) F4-3200C14D-16GVK

Both are 2x 8GB Samsung B die kits.

Double check you are using memory slots B2 and A2

    i) I would set manually SOC voltage of 1.05V. Go to DRAM Timings Control, select Memory Presets section, load The Stilt 3200MHz Safe timings.

ii) On Extreme Tweaker page set Memory Frequency as 3200MHz.

iii) On Extreme Tweaker page set DRAM Voltage as 1.35V.

iv) On Extreme Tweaker page, within External Digi+ Power Control, set DRAM Boot voltage 1.35V.

    v) Save and test.

I read and try a lot before so:

I did everything what u mentioned above, even tripple check slots B2 and A2.

Only difference is my stick which are => F4-3600C16D-16GTZR

I can boot I can run benchmark, I can even play a game, but it´s not stable and yet I had a crash soon or later... Wierd behavior but bad.

Where I can look for a trouble MoBo or RAM?

PS: I doesn´t have more RAM to test :/

When you ran Thaiphoon Burner did it show CRC OK near the bottom?

Only way you will know if motherboard is not issues is if you can try the CPU/RAM in another one.

    You can test RAM using:-

    i) HCI Memtest, link.

    ii) Kahru RAM Test, link.
