Ssamsung 970 Pro NVME M.2 SSD running at half speed?

So I was wondering why my SSD runs with half the rated speed and if anybody has any clue about why this happens. FYI, I have changed many settings in my BIOS to be able to overclock my CPU (with XMP) but i don't think that plays any role in that. Any ideas?

Are you using the latest NVMe drivers 3.0.0.1802 from SAMSUNG ?

Yes, every driver is updated.

Which M.2 port is your NVMe SSD?

If it is the M.2_2 (above the first PCIe x16 slot), the port is configured by default in x2, you have to switch it to x4 on the BIOS :
