I always extract driver package to Driver C and install with cmd promt...

Run As Admind, cd/ enter
SetupChipset.exe -overall enter

Latest chipset doesn't mention Z97 boards in release notes so I should avoid?

Do you have the previous version to this? I installed this one but a lot of entries in Device Manager now say "No driver has been installed for this device".
