    Friends, the problem is not that I do not have them, or that I do not want to provide them, it's just that Realtek develops its Drivers and its Win32 app (Realtek HD Audio Manager) on its side, and A-Volute (the company which develops Nahimic (Sonic Studio 3 & Sonic Radar 3 for ASUS)) develops its SS3 Software Components and Win32 apps (Sonic Studio 3 + Sonic Radar 3) on its side.

    To avoid conflicts with versions of Realtek Drivers that are too advanced compared to A-Volute stuff (which is no longer updated in HDA), you should use the Realtek Drivers with Realtek HD Audio Manager + SS3 Software Components + SS3 + SR3 package from your motherboard support page.
    ok. so a-volute will make some move on the future? let see. so far i am ok with the factory ones since i use more the mic. I am waiting to get confirm regarding the samsung nvme driver so i can install windwos 1809 again. since is available but i do not get the update. No idea why aside the samsung driver.

    Thank you for this. But I also noticed, with the latest, for some reason Radar fail installation.

    Hi MoKiChU.

    I've seen that also the HDA drivers are changed now. Now I see that you provide the Sonic Studio III & Sonic Radar III apps as well.

    As you remember I had installed the HDA because the UAD was causing me that .dmp file creation and was not able to use Fast Boot easily. Now that I have reinstalled Windows, I can chose what ever driver I'd like.

    I have a couples of questions for you:

    1. Why in the UAD you have linked the Microsoft apps and here you provide your standalone installed for these two apps?
    2. Now that both UAD and HDA drivers have the possibility to have both the Studio III & Sonic Radar III apps, what are the differences in having and using these two drivers, and eventual benefits in using one instead of the other one?

    Thanks.

    Simply because UWP applications from the Microsoft Store do not work with HDA drivers. HDA drivers only work with Win32/Legacy applications.

    The main feature difference is Sonic Studio Link (included with Sonic Studio III UWP). UAD drivers have it, HDA drivers do not have it.

    HDA Drivers are for Windows 7 64 bit & Windows 10 64 bit 1709/RS3/16299.x or more recent
    UAD Drivers are only for Windows 10 64 bit 1809/RS5/17763.x or more recent

    HDA Drivers are for ROG motherboards with Sonic Studio I/II/III Suite
    UAD Drivers are only for ROG motherboards with Sonic Studio III Suite

    HDA Drivers use Win32/Legacy apps
    UAD Drivers use UWP apps downloaded from Microsoft Store

    HDA Drivers have a tray icon (possibility to disable it)
    UAD Drivers don't have a tray icon (without possibility to enable it)

    Glossary :

    HDA = High Definition Audio
    HDA (@Realtek) = Standard (@NVIDIA) = Legacy (@Microsoft & @Intel)

    UAD = Universal Audio Driver
    UAD (@Realtek) = DCH (@NVIDIA & @Intel now) = DCHU (@Microsoft) = UWD (@Microsoft & @Intel before)

    DCH/DCHU = Declarative Componentized Hardware Support Apps Universal API compliance

    UWD = Universal Windows Driver

    Thanks for your answer. Sorry I mean ROG MAXIMUS VIII GENE.
    I suppose is better to do a clean install. I also have a MAXIMUS X HERO and I use it with the UAD driver.
