Hello. 2 years ago I assembled a PC and immediately overclock 6800k 4.2ghz. Everything worked fine. After came the new Bios 1802 and beta 1902. I installed them. Now decided to overclock 6800k. I go to Bios and set the multiplier 42 and volt 1.3 save F10 restart windows. I go to GPU-Z and there are 3600 max and 1 core 3800 ... recoverry bios on 0601
Did not help
WTF?
Help pls!

How did you flash the BIOS back to old version? BIOS Flashback method?

Have you cleared CMOS? Clear with all power removed from board...i.e. PSU switched off.

Anything else changed since you last OCd?...like RAM quantity?

Hi, if you are running the latest build of Windows 10 then this is due to the microcode update in KB4100347. If running RS4 (17134) it's possible to remove the offending patch and disable updates. Should be firmware updates sometime in the near future.

Yes, the patch is installed, now delete.

Sorry what is the steps to remove this update? I cannot find this update in the history for removal.

I am currently using the same board and have overclocked it to 4.3Ghz previously, after the update, no matter what ridiculous settings i put for my frequency it will boot no matter what happens and stick to the max default frequency with the ram overclocked lol.

Hey guys,i have the exact same problem as Love66!
The only difference is,though, that i don't have this particular update on my pc (currently running win10-1709 version) ,i checked at the update history and couldn't find any update with this name KB4100347.Any overclock above 36x doesn't work and only at core 1 g ives 3799mhz...
Any thoughts?
