Hi,

The Basin Falls Refresh CPU (i7-9800X/i9-9820X/i9-9900X/i9-9920X/i9-9940X/i9-9960X/i9-9980XE) will only be released in December 2018.

I think a new BIOS (which will support them) for X299 motherboards should arrive late November.

You lucky guys are you ready for i9-9820X. Best multi purpose processor.
He is overpriced, but not extremely overpriced, he is great but not best when apps use 1-2-3-4 cores, excellent and best when applications use up to 10 cores,
competitive with 12-14 cores, cheaper than i9-9900X, capable to work on same speed. Enough PCI-E lanes, work on cheaper X299 motherboards 1st Gen, soldered and I believe customers will not need to sand die.
I deserve to find 800 euro on street to buy him.

The most interesting models was i9 9800X and 9900X . We must see some enhancements from new L3 cache size (2MB per core ) . Just waiting.

I'm debating if I should sell my de-lidded 7940X I got from SL and get one of these instead. It's still in the box as I have yet to build my new system.
