Hello everybody,
I write here for have tips about my actual "issue".
Yesterday I received an ASUS 1080 Ti Turbo and I installed it in my PC. No screen connected to it because I need only for Iray render with Daz Studio so the screen is still on GTX 960. Out of this I kept the GTX 960 in the first PCI-E slot and it downgraded from 16x to 8x (and I know it's normal)...but I don't understand if is normal that the 1080 Ti on the 2nd PCI-E slot works 4x instead 8x as I supposed. This don't affect too much my work, but still I'd like to know if is normal...I was almost 100% sure that mainboard slot with this configuration could works in dual 8x.
You can see all my hardware specs under my username 😛 ;).
Thank you in advance 🙂

Is that an M2 SSD...if so I think it shares PCIe lanes with second slot making it x4M2 x4PCIe with first slot x8?

My SSD is a simple SATA drive.

Are there any options in BIOS for setting the speed of that second PCIe lane?

Solved...I didn't saw after I installed the card that in bios, who know why, the M.2_2 PCIe Bandwidth Configuration was setted to Disabled (x4/x4 mode)...I changed to Disabled (x8 mode) and now the both cards work x8 🙂
