wondering why latest 1803 is not appearing yet on the UEFI BIOS EZ Flash utility directly when searching, usually it takes 4-5 days to show up but its been like a week now.
Perhaps ASUS doesn't want to push this via auto update from UEFI BIOS? I'm referring to ASUS Z370-A PRIME (its available for manual download from the support page).

    Bios update

    Hello everyone,

I'm on Bios version 1412 on my Z370-F, which is quite an old bios version. Are there good reasons (improvement in performance, security issues solved...) to upgrade to the latest version, or would it be 'risky' ?

    Thanks

On the other hand, the Intel RST drivers manage well AHCI and/or RAID/Optane, so you need these drivers that have configured a RAID/Optane or not. You choose which type of drivers are used : Microsoft (default if no Intel drivers installed), Intel RST Drivers & Software or Intel RST Drivers Only (recommended) : https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...299-Z370-Z390).

hi, thank you for the response

    so the point is,
whatever my computer's specifications, if I want to update BIOS to version 2001 then I have to Install IRST driver 17.2.6.1027?

So the RST drivers to update are the SATA drivers from your other thread?
