Hi, 2 days ago i successfully upgraded my g20 to rtx 2070 (asus turbo version). Works fine and great performance in 1440p.

Which model of G20 do you have? What was your previous gpu? Did you have to do anything special with the power connectors/pins?

G20AJ, previous gpu - gtx 1070, nothing special, just 8+6pin

Great. Is the performance boost big over the 1070?
What about temperatures?

+~35% against 1070. 76C with auto fan speed (~40%). When you manually increasing the rotational speed of the turbine to 60%, the temperature drops on average to 65С under peak load.

what about psu , did you change it ?

Thank you for the informations, really helpful (even if dated) ! Will try myself with the Asus 2070s turbo. Wish me luck !

Did you have to move some kind of jumper pins around on the inside? Heard that in order to use both PSUs we have to move a small thingie one tad to the left?
