Memtest has its place in that it removes the module hardware as a cause of any faults.
Silent has posted up two great applications and I must say I like the HCI Memtest Pro as that really puts the memory under the spotlight.To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Ramtest is more stringent and easier to use.

Np. Takes a fraction of the time that HCI does (to reach quivalent coverage) and is more thorough.
