so got my new ROG centurion 7.1!
love them! anything with 7.1 seems to work great and sound isnt bad!
but anything stereo seems abit...not that good.
i mean i get its a true 7.1.
but why cant i get my sub or other speakers in the headset to work on stereo mode?
i mean music and allot of games dont support 7.1 sadly and that means this headset feel like a lower ver of a normal stereo or even a digital 7.1.
i used to have a razer kraken that would preform amazing all around and even have 7.1 on them
and was sure this headset will out preform them on anyways.
again the 7.1 is great and i had allot of fun. but i was sure they will have nicer work on stereo....
is there a way to fix this so i wont need to return them?
because me paying this much money for just the front speakers working all the time
and i cant even change it so all of them will work on stereo as 1 big speaker....i donnu...
feels....wrong for this price lvl....

id really like knowing is there a way to fix it.
because i TRULY love the 7.1 in this headset but if its so bad anywhere around it i dont want it....
i mean i can get a kraken V.2 for much lower with digital 7.1 and amazing stereo....u got my mind.

What are you playing in stereo?
Stereo content is played through the 2 largest drivers (front) so it works exactly the same as a stereo headset.
If the same signal goes into the smaller drivers, sound will be different, and for some frequency ranges - worse.
Duplicating the 2 channels to all 10 drivers will not improve the sound - due to the confined space inside the earcups and excess vibrations.
You can try playing around with the software to get the sound you like, there are preset sound modes and an equalizer.

i understand....kinda sucks but i get it.
is there a way to improve the quality abit?
as i feel its worse then other stereo headset.
maybe a good preset the same way i needed to change settings for my mic to make it sound good on the same headset?

SPECTRUM modes are tuned for different game genres, not for music. For best music quality :
On the Audio Station - Switch to SPECTRUM --> Press the volume control knob (every second LED will light up).
Usually, doing this will mute the volume for one or all channels. For SPECTRUM, this will disable the gaming sound profiles. You can still personalize the sound using the software, I'd suggest playing with Bass Boost and Voice Clarity first, if necessary, try the sound profiles and the equalizer to fine tune even further. The Compressor limits the range so that you won't go deaf if a loud song comes on.
Create and save your own profiles so you can switch easily whenever you listen to different content.
