Yesterday night I changed my RAM to XMP profile and ran a stress test with RealBench for 8 hours without any issue. Also once I woke up I started to work for more than 5 hours with Firefox,Chrome, Virtual Machine, Discord, Notepad++ running fine without a single issue. However 10 minutes ago and while I was watching a video on a website I came up with a BSOD.

    clock_watchdog_timeout
    Kernel-Power
    Event ID: 41
    Task: 63
    BugcheckCode 257
    BugcheckParameter1 0x18
    BugcheckParameter2 0x0
    BugcheckParameter3 0xfffff800bab4b180

Any ideas? I just used the XMP profile and nothing else.

What that suggests to me is the issue is with your VGA driver or if it was a flash based video that is where to look. Have seen this before.

Clean install of VGA driver is one way to eliminate a variable.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

May I know why VGA driver could cause this and why I would need to update it since I am using my GPU ports and I have latest nvidia drivers?
I have increased my voltages to 1.347 and today I got another BSOD:

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    Caused by driver: win32kfull.sys
    Caused by Address: win32kfull.sys+9b1b6

Hmm I don't think it will cause the flickering, I myself pushed my trident-z to 3200 mhz I have 8gb of ram but never encounter this, I experience the flickering when I bought a Benq XL2411P it happened once every hour I thought I get a defective Monitor and I was ready to bring it back to the store, but I give it another chance I pull all the plugs and then I suddenly realized the Display Port is not inserted correctly and that's the fix I found flickering never happened again.

You need to revert to complete defaults and see if the issue persists, first. Rather than switching between XMP profiles.

There is discussion right now on nvidia regarding these. IS NOT, I repeat IS NOT a bios, memory OC related. is the drivers. these happens on 1809 with new drivers. And have is present since las 2 399.xx drivers on 1803.

PLease go nvidia forums and post there. the glitch is real. I have it on both my systems with dual monitors and tested on many scenarios including oc and stock diferent memories drivers, video drivers, motherboard, brand, etc. my house is full of computers. The nvidia issues are real. and is not a issue board and hardware related. Test these for the last 2 weeks and got worst on 1809 and new nvidia drivers. go there. fill what they are asking and push nvidia to RESOLVE these situation now. Here is the link

    https://forums.geforce.com/default/t...d-11-13-18-/1/

There has being a lot of changes cause the specter fiasco, nvidia drivers 400.xx fiasco, and issues related on Microsoft part. So please go there and push these. believe it is a GPU driver issues tested on many system, many many monitors. and I will continue pushing these until my get my new CPU 2 week of December and my prime new x299 with the oled screen.
