Asus Zephyrus GM501 backlit not working properly after unplugging

Hello, I have a Zephyrus M (gtx 1070 variant). And sometimes the backlit keyboard just doesn't work. As soon as i unplug the laptop from power source, the backlit goes off after sometime. And doesn't turn back on. Usually this requires a reboot. Can anyone help me with this. Thank you

Seems like a known issue - I have the same problem and the only way that I know to fix it is NOT to reboot but launch Rog Aura Core and apply settings again (1 click) and then exit Aura core and the keyboard will light up again until next time.
