Hi All,

I am going to clone Win 10 system from my Samsung SSD 950 to M.2 970 NVMe on ROG Z370-F, is anything I need to know before I will do it?

Previously, I just cloned HDD to SSD and SSD to other SSD, but just being cautious, rather ask if I need to follow any procedure? bios changes?

I don't want to install a new system as I have too many software installed, so ideally I want to clone it.

No special procedures, clone like any other drive

Do I have to change HDD mode in bios ?? SATA PCI3 IRST ?? I will like to have bit more detail in the answer, please.

The Samsung 950 is a pcie NVME drive same as the 970 nether are SATA, even if one was a SATA drive as long as the OS was installed in UEFI mode it is a straight clone from one to the other
