    Question G751JT HDMI Port Version

    Hi Guys,

    I have an Asus ROG G751JT with 75Hz, G-SYNC 970M Model.

    I'm Thinking of buy an external Monitor that contains only HDMI 2.0 Port 2560x1080 Resulition @75Hz via HDMI 2.0 Cable

    But before buy that monitor can someone confirm ASUS G751JT contains HDMI 2.0 Port ?

    Monitor Model: LG 25 25UM58-P

    Looks like the G751JT has a HDMI 1.4 port. See ASUS reference:

    You might consider using the vga port.

    Are you sure about that ? I did a research and i found if G751 Contain intel onboard gpu activated then cards has 1.4 on the other hand g751jt and g751jy has only Nvdia gpu so hdmi ports are 2.0 and i found someone in this forum with 980m (G751JY) has 2.0 hdmi port: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...tor#post526249

    But i had to confirm my laptop has the same port with G751JY

    If you are questioning if it supports HDMI 2.0 or not, just bypass it and use the mini display port with this adapter which will for sure work:

    (ROG has simply become too expensive compared to the competition with same specs... )
