Hello guys,

Did anybody manage to boot Windows 10 from this SSD with the Maximus Hero VIII?

I tried many times unsuccessfully. Windows 10 installs flawlessly from the USB drive, then reboots, the installation proceeds until "Configuring devices 100%" and at the following reboot the system hangs on the startup screen (ROG background).

I tried the following repeatedly, with all devices but the 970 EVO disconnected:

- Both Windows UEFI and Other OS setting in the BIOS
- Installation with CSM enabled on UEFI/Legacy OR totally disabled with security keys deleted (a workaround I found on the web, although in this way the system does not even POST, the motherboard gets stuck with Q-Code A2 and I have to reset the BIOS)

The 970 EVO works perfectly as a secondary drive.

My config:
- Asus Maximus VIII Hero with BIOS 3802 (latest) reset to default settings
- Windows 10 x64 Pro ISO downloaded from MS website yesterday (it should be build 1803)
