This occurred after I replaced the keyboard that had a few keys that were no longer working.

When govering over the battery icon in the task bar it says "89 % available (plugged in, charging)".

The power is plugged in but doesn't seem to load the battery.

what does it mean and how to fix it ?

note that the orange light on battery stays orange, even with laptop switched off but connected the the power brick.
