From what I have read, the new BIOS file includes Intel EFI RAID 17.0.0.3720 support or microcode or something to do with the Intel EFI RAID 17.0.0.3720.

I'm just guessing based on what was said cause I thought the EFI RAID was software, I didn't realize it also had a hardware component that needed to be added to BIOS code.

Either way I don't use RAID so I don't know if I need it.

RST EFI module updated with 17.0.0.3720 version
Always microcode 49, RST OROM 17.0.0.3720 and LAN module up to date
