Bios 1603 is out
It is currently listed for me under Win 8.1.

*Update RC version to 1.1.5.

I Just installed 1603 and my cores are showing 5-6C warmer at idle and load. TJ max is now showing 110, instead of 102/105. It's like the whole
scale moved up 5-6C.

Something is weird with your setup. Mine is the same, all temps fine.

1603/1503...Same test, settings and duration. nothing weird with my setup....Look at the min/max not the current.
btw.... CPU is 7940x

3.1Ghz idle, test was run at 4.1Ghz all cores AVX, using Prime95.

The microcode had to be updated from where the increase in the temperature of cores
With bios 1503, it was microcode 43 and no problem
Since the 4D microcode, the TJMax has gone up to 110° and temperature increase
Bizarre that Asus did not change that by integrating this microcode into biosSorry for my english

You're right on the microcode 4D, do you think If I manually added 102/105 in the max cpu temp, would that change things ?

you can try to put 105 for the TJMax in the bios (it's in the CPU options, all the way down I believe) and you have to put 100 for 105 (check after under Windows if it's good)
I tried with bios 1503 and microcode 4D, 50 and 55 and even if the TJmax was at 105 under Windows, the temperatures were always higher
This is the 4D microcode with this bios ?Sorry for my english
