    Trouble updating BIOS

Using EZ Flash in the BIOS, and whether I try from a USB or internet it'll freeze. From the USB, it'll freeze at the part where it asks you if you want to read this file. The internet method froze at 99% of the download. Each time I had to hit the re-start. I'm just concerned it'll freeze during the install portion and I won't be able re-boot. Any thoughts on what I should try? I'm on BIOS 0401 and have 1002 on the USB drive.

Bios flash is done using the rear I/O panel and no need to be in Bios.
Download the Bios file from ASUS Support to an empty USB stick formatted to FAT32, single partition.
Rename the file to C7HWIFI.CAP for Crosshair VII HERO WIFI or C7H.CAP for none WIFI.
Power down the system so there is just power to the MB.
Insert the USB into the correct USB port as per section 2.2 in your manual.
Press the Flashback button for 2-3 secs till it begins to blink.
It will take a while and when it stops blinking your done. If it stops blinking and remains lit then you have a problem. Usually a bad or incorrectly formatted USB or the file not named correctly.
Remove the USB and restart the system.
I'm on Bios 0804 with no issues at all.
