A good sample... 9900k
After swapping the stock TIM on the RYUJIN 360 with some Cryonaut my cooler score jumped to 190 on the Hero XI. I think this particular chip is a great sample as I'm now stable at 5.1GHZ all core @1.28v and still keeping my RAM at 4000 C17. I ran Real Bench for a few hours and then gamed a few hours. Temps top out at 73c under AVX. 62c in very heavily threaded gaming. Around 45c for lighter games. I think there just might be 5.2GHz in this chip at a very decent voltage. 1.325v will be my limit though for this daily system so we shall see.
I think that in addition to the silicon quality that there just may be some variation in the soldered TIM. I have one other 9900k for a build I'm doing for my son and temps are far higher on that chip as are the voltage needs. With the same cooler and TIM (Kryonaut) the cooler score on the Hero XI is only 164 on that chip.

Do you have any offset for AVX?
I think I also have a good sample 5GHz AVX on 1.27V max temps at Prime95 (with AVX) SmallFFT 85C. Other programms (OCCT, Asus Realbench, IBT) with AVX enabled passes tests with 1.25V, only Prime95 cause BSOD after about 10 mins. So I suggest you to test your CPU with Prime95 AVX enabled in smallFFT to be sure it's fully stable. But Prime95 heavily load CPU and produces massive amount of heat. In other programms with AVX tests on 5GHz 1.27V temps were about 72C only.
On other try, I set 5GHz (AVX offset -2) and 1.23V and it's also fully stable. Prime95 (with AVX) temps stops about 78C.
Maybe I can get 5.5GHz
My score in BIOS average is 160-170. Max I've reached was 191. But for me this is not a determinant, because in normal use my fans spinning around 800 rpms and even under game load don't spin faster, keeping temps under 70C. 191 pts I get when testing at full rpm (2000) speed, but suggested voltage for 5GHz AVX wasn't stable.Last edited by michalmx0; 12-04-2018 at 02:21 AM.

Nice CPU buddy - you pushed the IMC yet to see how that plays out?

Currently running G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x8GB 3600MHz CL16 at 4000MHz 18-18-18-40 1.35V, VCCIO 1.15V, VCCSA 1.2V without problems. It needs some more testing, but seems to be stable.

5GHz at 1.27v under load is a very good CPU. In contrast using the Formula XI, my tray sample needs1.34v (Adaptive mode UEFI) @ LLC6 for 5GHZ and in excess of 1.4V for 5.1GHz

Did you also use a small ffu's or aida fpu stress test with it?
I got with my i9 9900k a score of 167 points, but with the FPU test it reaches > 90 oC, the boost never went higher than 4800mhz, generally, I'm rather disappointed, especially since it's a custom loop that only cools the cpu and mainboard pch (XI Formula). It's all on stock, btw.

You have a great chip. A bit better than mine for sure!! Congrats!
With my 5.1 Ghz OC I was running an offset of -1, so 5Ghz for AVX at 1.28v. CPU package diode does hit 83c under AVX Prime Small FFT.
I have now reached 5.2ghz stable with an AVX offset of -2 at 1.315v. AVX Small FFT hits 88c now. But surprisingly my cooler score has now jumped to 207 after benching for a few hours at these speeds. I haven't been able to get AVX Small FFT Prime stable for more than 20 minutes at more than 5Ghz all core with voltage under 1.35v. So I'm not going to push it. I'm also holding my RAM at 4000 C17. If this is where I top out I'd be a very happy camper.
Currently sitting at 5.2GHZ @ 1.315 AVX -2, LLC6, Adaptive Voltage, RAM at 4000 17-17-17
