Hey,

Recently purchased a rtx 2080 from newegg on the 25th.

Purchased it from the United Arab Emirates store. Did not receive a code.

Been trying to redeem it via this https://www.asus.com/event/vga/BattlefieldV/forget.aspx
and end up getting an error.

Tried to contact the forum administrator via the https://rog.asus.com/forum/sendmessage.php and i get an error there as well.
(Error vBulletin Message
Unrecognized URL (https://www.asus.com/event/vga/BattlefieldV/index.aspx) )

Sent an email to rog_forum@asus.com about the problem

I contacted newegg and they said they did not have the promotion for the UAE store but although the website says the promotion is worldwide?? What should i do?

Is anyone out there in the same boat as me? or am I the only one?

Thanks in advance,
Taz

Yes, my Experience is about the same!!!

I bought a 2080 TI Strix. I was even lucky to get one, that's why I chose a small web-shop which could deliver instead of the usual web stores in our country.

However, the "Worldwide Promotion" underlies some restrictions i have been told. Here in Switzerland they say, that only in NVIDIA partner-stores you will get this "Worldwide promotion" (there are only 2 stores in Switzerland, Digitec and Steg that are official NVIDIA resellers, all the 1000 other Stores in the whole country are no "official resellers" (will not be able to provide their customers the promotion that NVIDIA / ASUS call worldwide).

When I contacted my reseller to ask, he agreed that this promotion would apply to my buy, but when he contatced ASUS b2b channel, he was told what I wrote above.

Its a real shame, that ASUS just does not care if a customer that just spent $1500 for a single GPU is not able to redeem the "Worldwide promotion". Also it seems very "handy" that they are not able to deliver their products while the promotion is running - therefore they don't have give it to the customers...

I've been using Asus (and especially Strix products for years) and I do like them a lot. The engineers make a great job, and the marketing seems to flush this all down the toilet when they get in touch with end-users.

If someone knows the right guy to contact in order to get this redeem process working as "worldwide" promoted it would be great to have this posted here!

Cheers, Rainer

code i received from Asus was not working either. Contacted Nvidia support they said the code had been redeemed a week before i purchased the GPU brand new..... So i dont know WTF is going on. Probably either Asus or Nvidia being hacked for free BFV codes.

I'm also facing the same issue. I've contacted Nvidia and I was told that the code was already claimed by someone else's email.
Could anyone help me out.

I managed to enter these details through the links on this page - I am from Australia

https://www.asus.com/event/vga/BVF-Anthem/2080Ti-2080/index.html

I was wondering how long does it take to get back to the applicant ? I bought a strix 2080 so does that mean i get all 3 games that are advertised ?

Hi I am getting something similar.

Unrecognized URL (https://www.asus.com/event/vga/BVF-Anthem/2070-2060/index.aspx)

I bought a 2070 strixx yesterday and im trying to claim metro.

Thanks,

I have had the same experience after purchasing the ASUS RTX 2080 TURBO 8GB from PLE Computers in Western Australia. The website responded with the error below after i submitted the serial, PPID and proof of purchase.

Quote: "This card isn’t sold during this campaign period. Please check the redemption rule again. If you encounter any redemption problem, please provide your product serial number, PPID, a valid receipt* and send to rog_forum@asus.com. Please also clearly state the game title in the title of mail. (*Please provide a valid receipt with clear show of date of purchase and upload it to any cloud space, for example Dropbox, WeTransfer, ASUS Webstorage and provide a download URL.)"

I've sent an email to rog_forum@asus.com, the ASUS sales and marketing team and have contacted Raja@ASUS, hoping to get some traction.

Am hoping, someone will be able to give me, my codes.

Same issues here after buying a 2080. Get the same "Card not sold during period" error.

Contacted support and admins but no response.
